Carlos Correa Children: Meet His Sons Kylo and Kenzo

Carlos Correa has enjoyed some unforgettable moments on the baseball field, but away from the stadium, another role has become equally important to him. The MLB star is a father of two sons, Kylo Daniel Correa and Kenzo Correa, whom he shares with his wife, Daniella Correa Rodriguez.

The Correa family has grown considerably since Carlos and Daniella married in 2019. Their first son, Kylo, arrived in November 2021, followed by Kenzo in March 2023. While baseball keeps Correa busy for much of the year, his family has become a major part of his life outside the sport.

How Many Children Does Carlos Correa Have?

Carlos Correa has two children with Daniella Correa Rodriguez. Both are boys.

Their oldest son, Kylo Daniel Correa, was born on November 29, 2021. Their second son, Kenzo, arrived in March 2023.

The brothers are relatively close in age, giving Carlos and Daniella a busy family life alongside the demands of a professional baseball career.

Correa has spent much of his adult life dealing with the pressure that comes with playing Major League Baseball at an elite level. Becoming a father introduced something very different to his everyday routine, and his children have become an important part of his personal story.

Who Is Kylo Daniel Correa?

Kylo Daniel Correa is Carlos and Daniella’s first child.

He was born on November 29, 2021, more than two years after his parents married. His arrival marked Carlos’ first experience with fatherhood after years in which baseball had been the central focus of his life.

Kylo also has a memorable name. The name has been linked to Kylo Ren, the well-known Star Wars character. That unusual connection quickly caught the attention of baseball fans when the couple introduced their first baby.

Kylo has grown up with a father whose baseball career requires considerable traveling, training and time away during the MLB season. Still, family has remained an important presence around Correa’s career.

As the oldest of the two boys, Kylo also experienced another major family change fairly quickly. He was still very young when his little brother arrived.

Meet Carlos Correa’s Younger Son Kenzo

Carlos and Daniella expanded their family again when they welcomed Kenzo Correa in March 2023.

Kenzo is approximately 16 months younger than his older brother, meaning the boys are growing up through many of the same childhood stages together. He celebrated his third birthday in March 2026.

Compared with the extensive coverage surrounding Carlos’ baseball career, relatively little personal information about Kenzo has been made public. Carlos and Daniella have shared parts of their family life while still maintaining boundaries around their children.

The arrival of Kenzo turned the couple into parents of two boys less than four years after their wedding.

For Correa, it also meant balancing the responsibilities of raising two very young children with one of the most demanding schedules in professional sports.

Who Is the Mother of Carlos Correa’s Children?

Kylo and Kenzo’s mother is Daniella Correa Rodriguez, formerly known as Daniella Rodriguez.

Daniella was already successful in her own right before becoming widely known as Correa’s partner. She competed in beauty pageants and was crowned Miss Texas Teen USA in 2013 before winning Miss Texas USA in 2016.

She later moved into entrepreneurship and developed a career beyond pageantry.

Daniella’s connection with Carlos began through baseball. They met in 2016 when she participated in a ceremonial first pitch at a Houston Astros game while serving as Miss Texas USA.

Their meeting eventually developed into a relationship that produced one of baseball’s more memorable proposals.

Carlos Correa and Daniella’s Relationship

Correa proposed to Daniella immediately after one of the biggest moments of his professional career.

Following the Houston Astros’ victory in Game 7 of the 2017 World Series, Correa proposed during a live television interview. The timing made their engagement particularly memorable, combining a career-changing championship with a major personal milestone.

The couple eventually married in a courthouse ceremony on November 11, 2019.

Their family started growing two years later with Kylo’s arrival. Kenzo followed in 2023, completing their current family of four.

Daniella has remained alongside Correa through the many changes that come with professional baseball, including different contracts, teams, injuries and demanding MLB seasons.

Carlos Correa’s Baseball Career

Carlos Javier Correa Oppenheimer was born in Puerto Rico and emerged as one of the most highly regarded baseball prospects of his generation.

The Houston Astros selected him with the first overall pick in the 2012 MLB Draft. That selection came with enormous expectations, but Correa quickly showed why Houston had placed so much confidence in him.

He made his MLB debut in 2015 and became one of the prominent young shortstops in baseball.

One of the defining achievements of his career came in 2017 when he helped Houston win the World Series. That championship also became personally significant because it was immediately followed by his proposal to Daniella.

Correa later earned additional recognition, including All-Star selections and Gold Glove and Platinum Glove honors.

His career eventually took him from Houston to the Minnesota Twins, adding another chapter to a baseball journey that had already included individual awards and postseason success.

Fatherhood Became Another Chapter for Correa

Professional athletes often spend much of the year traveling, and baseball is especially demanding because of its lengthy regular season. Players can be away from home for extended stretches while competing across the country.

That makes family time particularly meaningful.

For Correa, the arrival of Kylo and Kenzo created a new life alongside baseball. Instead of his identity being centered entirely around being a shortstop and professional athlete, he became a father raising two young sons with Daniella.

The boys are still young, so it remains far too early to know whether either will eventually develop the same passion for baseball as their father.

For now, they are simply growing up together while their parents balance professional commitments with family life.

Carlos Correa’s Family Life Away From Baseball

Searches for Carlos Correa’s children have increased as fans have become more interested in the person behind the baseball uniform.

Correa has experienced many major moments since entering professional baseball, from becoming the first overall draft pick to reaching the majors and winning a championship. Yet his family has developed alongside those career achievements.

Kylo Daniel Correa, born in November 2021, is the couple’s oldest son. Kenzo, born in March 2023, is their youngest.

Together with Daniella, the two boys have given Correa a family life that exists far beyond MLB standings and statistics. Baseball may have made Carlos Correa famous, but Kylo and Kenzo represent a much more personal chapter of his story.
