Dewan later started a relationship with actor and singer Steve Kazee. Together they welcomed their first child, Callum Michael Rebel Kazee, on March 6, 2020.

Their family expanded again when daughter Rhiannon Lee Kathryn Kazee arrived on June 14, 2024.

The age differences between the children have created an interesting family dynamic. Everly had already spent years as an only child before Callum arrived, and she was 11 when Rhiannon joined the family.

Everly, often called Evie by her family, is Jenna Dewan’s first child and her only child with Channing Tatum.

She was born in London on May 31, 2013, while both of her parents were already established figures in the entertainment industry. Although Everly grew up around performers, she did not immediately follow her mother’s interest in dancing.

Dewan has explained that Everly tried dance when she was younger but initially had little desire to continue. That changed when she discovered Irish dancing.

Everly had already developed a fascination with Irish legends, folklore, fairies and music. When her mother introduced her to Riverdance, something clicked.

She wanted to learn the style herself.

Dewan eventually found an Irish dance school for her daughter, and Everly began taking lessons. The style can be physically demanding and technically difficult, but Dewan has spoken proudly about her daughter’s willingness to keep practicing.

Everly has also started giving her mother fashion advice.

One memorable example came when Dewan attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. Everly helped select her mother’s outfit and apparently had plenty of opinions about what Dewan should and should not wear.

Everly Is a Protective Big Sister

Everly’s role changed considerably when Callum arrived in 2020.

Dewan initially wondered how her daughter would respond to having a sibling nearly seven years younger than her. Those concerns disappeared quickly.

Callum Kazee

Callum Michael Rebel Kazee is Dewan’s second child and her first with Steve Kazee.

He was born in Los Angeles on March 6, 2020.

His arrival was a noticeably different experience for Dewan compared with becoming a mother for the first time. She had already been through pregnancy and childbirth with Everly and felt more prepared for what was coming.

Callum was delivered by cesarean section. Dewan created a calm environment around his arrival, including playing music that she found soothing.

One song particularly important to her was “The Devi Prayer,” a lengthy Sanskrit prayer that she had included on her playlist because of the peaceful feeling it gave her.

Dewan later explained that welcoming a second child felt calmer because she understood the process and could be more present rather than worrying about every unknown detail.

Callum Shares His Parents’ Creative Side

It did not take long for Callum to show signs that music and movement might interest him.

Steve Kazee is a Tony Award-winning performer with a strong musical background, while Dewan’s career began largely through dance. Callum has been surrounded by both from childhood.

When he was only a few months old, Kazee shared a playful moment of his son experimenting with a baby guitar.

Dewan later noticed that Callum also reacted enthusiastically whenever she danced around the house.

Dancing in the kitchen is apparently a normal occurrence in their family. Dewan has recalled Callum smiling and laughing when she danced, especially when she added dramatic hair movements.

Everly would sometimes join in and announce that it was time for a family dance party.

As Callum has grown older, Dewan has shared occasional glimpses of his childhood adventures. One particularly exciting milestone was his first trip to Disneyland, where he had the chance to meet characters including Mickey Mouse and Moana.

Rhiannon Kazee

Rhiannon Lee Kathryn Kazee is the youngest of Jenna Dewan’s three children and her second child with Steve Kazee.

Dewan and Kazee revealed in January 2024 that they were expecting another baby. Their announcement had a personal touch, with Kazee playing guitar and singing while a pregnant Dewan relaxed nearby.

The pregnancy came at a different stage of Dewan’s life. She was 43 and openly acknowledged that carrying her third child might not feel exactly the same as her earlier pregnancies.
